Hurricane Shutters Removal
Our condo is replacing our patio doors with storm rated doors so our hurricane shutters had to be removed. The two boys that came in to remove them were prompt and courteous and when they left for the day they cleaned everything up on the patio. All of the dust and shavings from the Drilling. They were respectful of my floors by covering with drop cloths wherever they walked or had their equipment. They were so polite to me I was impressed. When they were finished they stacked the hurricane shutters on the balcony to be picked up later by the lift. And they did such a neat job stacking them and wrapping everything tightly so that nothing was astray. I would recommend this company for installation or removal. They have got it all figured out.

Great service, competitive price, excellent job
APS Hurricane gave a competitive bid maybe a little lower than the other companies I had give me an estimate. The lead time was in line with what the initial estimate was, better than the competitors. I couldn’t ask for better looking shutters, the quality and appearance is outstanding. My neighbors say my shutters make theirs look bad. I highly recommend APS Hurricane, Tim Stipanovic and his installation crew(Nate and Adam).

We are so happy with our new shutters! We received several estimates and APS was the most reasonable. Tim
explained all of our options clearly and really listened to us. His work is meticulous and everything looks great! We
feel we will be very safe when a storm comes our way!
Family Business
We decided last year to start looking into windows for our home and decided to finally pull the trigger
this past July. We looked around at the various window companies in the area, and eventually
decided to call Tim at APS as we were looking at both Windows and Storm Shutters at the same
time. We actually saw Tim working in the neighborhood, and when we realized he did both we
decided to call. We are very glad we did. Tim and family were great to work with, providing us
with everything we needed before, during, and after the installation. Tim set us up with a great set of
windows and shutters and was very cognizant of local codes and requirements that we were not
aware of. When installation day finally came Tim and his brother did an amazing job with the
installation, paying extremely close attention to all those little details that come up installing windows.
He even went so far as replacing windowsills and some damaged siding. Tim really focused on
making the job perfect, even working with us as we replaced all our window trim. We have four
young children who were running around the house during the project, and Tim and his brother were
great working around them as well. I could not ask for a better job or better Windows and Storm
Shutters. If you are looking at Windows or Shutters, do yourself a favor and call Tim at APS. He runs
a 100% family business and he actually cares about getting the job done right. What more can you
ask for? We will be calling him back next year to finish the rest of our house for sure!

Great Service!
Great service from quote to install. Tim did a great job of listening to our concerns and explaining the different shutter types and what would work best for us. We were concerned about the look of the shutters on the house and he went above and beyond to make sure things were as inconspicuous as possible. Shutter install went smoothly and no detail was missed. We really appreciate the pride Tim and his team take in their work!

Cannot recommend APS enough!
All around great place for hurricane shutters. We didn’t know what we wanted. Tim educated us on the pros and cons of each type. After picking out the shutter type the installation was very professional they look and functional wonderfully. Installers took time to make sure we were happy and felt comfortable using the shutters. I cannot recommend APS enough!!

Amazing job on my shutters
Tim at APS did an amazing job on my shutters. He is very thorough with all the options he has available. We were able to package a deal that was best for my home while still being affordable! The install was fast and professionally done! He went above and beyond to ensure my family had additional emergency exits while having the shutters inside. Highly recommending the team at APS Hurricane Protection. Tim, the owner of his family run business delivered on all of their promises. The job was completed on time and within our budget. Tim and his brother were my installers and they went above and beyond (even used my house touch up paint to cover the posts for our hurricane shutters so they blend in. I was really impressed with the finished look it provided.) On the day of install they never stopped or disappeareD, just worked until the job was done (nearly 12 hours working straight thru). Our afternoon rain and thunderstorms were incoming that day but Tim and his brother continued working diligently to complete the job before the storms arrived. They even stayed late into the evening to make sure the entire job site was cleaned up and has my panels stacked nice and neat in our garage. Another bonus was a laminated map of our home that includes a numbered diagram to show me which panels go where to make setting up more efficient. As a local business owner, I know a quality contractor when I see one and From beginning to end I was very satisfied with the entire experience from APS HURRICANE PROTECTION. Amazing job
APS Hurricane Protection and Windows did an amazing job with our hurricane protection. Tim spent time reviewing all options and created a plan for us that best fit our home and budget. APS installed accordion shutters on all the back doors and windows and hurricane fabric across the lanai so that the sliding glass doors will be protected and we will be able to utilize the lanai area for storage in event of storm. The best part was Tim created custom covers which he stuccoed and painted to match our house and they blend in absolutely perfectly. I had been worried that adding hurricane shutters to our home would be ugly- Tim and his team ensured that nothing could be further from the truth. It’s beautiful and my family will feel safe and secure when/if a hurricane comes our way.
